Just returned from a few days at ODC immaculately clean, cozy and well equipped always feels like we've come home. Had excellent meals at Marmalade, Thai and Dave's fish and chips. Thanks for the wine and biscuits Clare will be back next year.

June & Glyn,

Our 2nd visit to your lovely home - still as good as ever - beautifully clean- cosy - everything you need from a holiday home. We were blessed with sunny days and blue skies. Went on steam train to Holt, took train to Cromer and Norwich - never used the car - such a change. Enjoyed meals out especially the quirky No 10 and Marmalades. Old Dairy Court is always our first choice when visiting Norfolk. Thank you Clare for the privilege of using your lovely home . Sylvia

Sylvia and Chris ,

Thank you for the goodies. Very much appreciated. First time staying in the property. Clean and very well equipped. Love the location. We will recommend to family and friends. Aug 24

Julie ,

Excellent accommodation. A great deal of thought goes to these premises.
This is why we have visited for the past 10 years and plan to book again for 2025.
Always enjoyable.

David and John,

We Stayed June 21 2024, for one week.
We had a fabulous stay. Clean, comfortable and everything we needed. The house is ideal situated, in a quiet location. Would recommend Old Dairy Court to anyone.

Mary & Margaret,

Thank you Clare and team, for a great stay as ever. Immaculately clean and well equipped, and brilliant location! And (almost forgot) wine and chocs! Good wishes

Sue & Stuart,

Lovely house. Good position and the kitchen is very well equipped. Garden was very tidy and house was spotless.

Mr W,

Another lovely stay in Old Dairy Court, managed to get some of our favourite walks in, albeit very cold and windy at times, but
Always snug and warm at the house. Thank you Clare for the wine and chocs. See you again soon.
Jenny & Neil

Jenny,

Another great stay, weather was kind to us. Great being so close to shops, parking a bonus, though we used train this time.
Beds a little firm for my arthritic hips and back, but that is a personal choice. Lovely home.

Corrie,

Back again! ODC was as clean and tidy as we have come to expect - as people below have said, bravo to the cleaner, excellent job. Thanks also to Clare for the arrival treats - the mint matchmakers went down better at work than the honeycombe ones ;-)

We went out walking again on both days. Saturday we took the path across the field to the bottom of Sheringham park, carried on through to Weybourne and Kelling Heath. Well who knew that was there! Beautiful area that we will explore another day and we saw the strangest thing... what turned out to be an astronomy convention at the camping and caravan park! Huge telescopes that would give the hubble a run for its money!! Apparently you get some excellent dark skies on the North Norfolk coast. We looped back through Hundred Acre Wood at High Kelling before falling out in the western side of Sheringham Park. Down the hill at the back of the park towards the hotel before heading back across the field. To that point we have found a route now through the houses that means you don't have to walk all the way up the main road. Total 11 miles (and my hips were broken after the pavement bash at the end).

Sunday was shorter at 7 miles (those hips and hamstrings weren't happy) and we did a loop out past the bottom of the Beeston Bump and up into the woods past the school and horse fields. Headed east towards Cromer and did laps of the enormous camping and caravan site at Incleborough Hill. Up the hill to the Roman Camp and Beacon Hill before heading to the view point near the quarry. Headed back towards town through Sheringwood, admiring all the lovely houses up there. Literally stumbled through the woods and discovered the water works path we found last time so were able to cut down the edge of Beeston Regis Common into town. Having tried to go across that common before we know it is rather swampy so best to avoid that!

I do hope people reading this are enthused by our walks and give you some tips of places to explore during your stay. Obviously you don't have to do the crazy miles we do (training for a Macmillan Mighty Hike) and can always drive to spots to avoid the slog up (it is very up!) and out of town. Ordnance Survey Explorer Maps 251 and 252 will serve you well - also the Outdoor Active map app which you can download OS maps to.

Victoria,

Had another fabulous stay at ODC a couple of weeks ago and booked again for March. Love the new floor in the lounge :-)

We found a new route out of town and did a big loop up through Felbrigg, past the piggies and quarries before dropping back into town past the old abbey I never knew was there. Sunday was another new route out of town past the water works and tip, looping past the solar farm and back in via Sheringham Park. Spring was underway there with many plants already in flower. Looking forward to going back in March and seeing how far spring has advanced. There were Snowdrops everywhere on our journey up.

Victoria,

Another lovely stay at the Old Dairy Court. It's like a home from home - beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, warm and cozy (always good when visiting in February) and with everything you could need. The wine and chocolates are a really nice touch ! Will be back again next year. Thanks Clare

Susan,

A lovely short break at your comfortable home, just what was needed especially as the weather was really kind. Thank you again for providing such a welcoming home, we really like your new flooring. So sure we will be back again.

Caroline ,

Another wonderful Christmas/New Year stay at 2 Old Dairy Court. Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and warm and cosy in what was the wettest week ever! Thank you Clare for your attention to detail and for the Christmas treats. Hoping to be back for our usual week again in December 2024.

Lynne and Martin,

Had another amazing stay at Old Dairy Court, it has everything you could possibly want, a real home from home. Plenty of lovely places to eat - we choose The Robin Hood and the Thai both were delicious and Dave’s for good old fish and chips. Sheringham is such a friendly place to visit it feels like my second home. Will be visiting again soon Clare, thank you.

June & Glyn,

We have had another lovely break in Old Dairy Court, our trip on the North Norfolk Lights Express on Saturday evening was wonderful, the start to our Christmas! We even managed to get some Christmas shopping done. Although it was very cold and quite windy, we were always lovely and warm in Old Dairy Court. Thank you Clare for the wine and chocs.

Jenny, Neil & Amy,

I have been very comfortable, and your house has everything I need. I can't believe how quiet it is when the main street is so near! I'm not sure if I'll return, as it's such a long journey and I'm not as young as I was!! However, I've got my memories!

Hilary,

We really enjoyed our stay, a lovely property in a superb location, parking, trains, buses excellent. Hopefully back again soon !!
Thank you Clare for the wine and chocolates 😊

Keith,

Number 2 Old Dairy Court is the perfect holiday cottage, comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. It is in a convenient position in Sheringham for both bus and train trips around North Norfolk. And thank you Clare for the wine and chocolates.

Thank you Clare, for another lovely stay in Old Dairy Court, spotlessly clean as always, a credit to your cleaner. Thank you for the wine and chocs. Looking forward to our next stay, when hopefully the weather will have warmed up.

Jenny, Neil & Amy,

On arrival on 3rd March we found the cottage warm and welcoming and as always spot on for cleanliness and comfort, must say that the welcome gifts of wine and chocs went down very well too. Despite the cold damp weather we found the cottage very convenient for access to the shops etc and the parking just right for us older folk who like our cars to be parked safely. We endeavoured to leave everything as we found it and hope it passed your brilliant housekeepers test.

Tony & Edna,

Our 6/7th visit to Old Dairy Court the best holiday cottage we have been in, like home from home everything there you could possible want and extremely clean and well looked after. The cottage is in an excellent position in town easy to walk or catch the train. We had excellent meals at the Thai restaurant and also Marmalade and not forgetting delicious fish and chips from Daves. Thanks for the wine and chocolate. Will be back later in the year.

June & Glyn,

A revitalising short stay. As always a lovely welcoming house, fresh clean and warm, with everything provided you could possibly need. Ideally situated for all amenities, with the added bonus of parking.

Caroline,

Just arrived back from a long weekend. This was our second visit and won’t be the last. Absolutely spotless as usual nice welcome gift and everything there that you could want. Everything within walking distance and plenty of restaurants and takeaways to choose from.
Well done Clare on keeping this property so well maintained.

Judy & Terry,

Had a lovely Christmas stay here in December. The house is lovely, very clean and everything you need is there. It's very quiet and near everything, shops, pubs...

Jane,

Thank you Clare for another lovely twixmas break. We have thoroughly enjoyed it. 2 Old Dairy Court is such a lovely cosy and spotless place to stay, very central to everything. Cannot fault it and thank you for the wine and chocs. Already booked for next Dec/Jan.

Lynne and Martin,

Thank you Clare for another lovely stay in Old Dairy Court, everything lovely and clean as usual, thank you for the wine and chocs.
It was so nice to see Sheringham and surrounding areas looking very festive, and lovely to do some Christmas shopping as well.

Jenny & Neil,

Just got back from staying at the Old Dairy Court for 4 nights. What a lovely place spotless, well done to the cleaners, lots of extras you don’t normally get when renting and a nice welcome gift. Parking a bonus but it is very tight to get in. So close to everything . We have been to Sheringham a few times this is definitely the best place we have stayed in and hopefully be booking again soon.

Terry and Judy,

We returned home yesterday after a lovely restful week in your 2 Old Dairy Court. As always we found it absolutely spot on for cleanliness and comfort and must say also that the wine and chocs went down well too. The cottage is very convenient for access and parking and is just right for us older folk being just a short walk away from the shops etc. We endeavoured to leave it as we found it and hope it passed your brilliant Housekeepers test.

Tony and Edna,

This lovely, modern holiday accommodation is comfortable, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It’s quiet and central location is really convenient for the great local shops and the seafront. It is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful North Norfolk coast, either by foot or car, also the railway station is literally 5 minutes away. The private parking space is a real bonus too. A real credit to the owners and one of the best self catering properties we have stayed in. We will be back!

Colin,

Absolute credit to the owner is this holiday accommodation very comfortable and central to Sheringham just a few steps from shops but not at all noisy you would think it was a long way out . Lovely garden and patio to sit on the warm days and evenings and relax with a glass of wine. The accommodation if you wish to eat in is so well equipped I don't think you could want for anything to prepare your own food. This is a fantastic find will be returning next year and know were I will be booking to stay.

David,

Just wanted to say what a fantastic stay we had in Old Dairy Court for the week! Such a wonderful, well-equipped property and a great location. Just waiting for our family who stay in a separate place to confirm which week they're coming next year (we converge on Sheringham every year!) and will be back in touch to see if we can rebook for then 🙂

Emma,

We have had a lovely 2 weeks in ODC, a real home from home, everything you need and spotlessly clean, a credit to your cleaner.
Looking forward to our next visit already.

Julia,

Just wanted to thank you for our lovely holiday in your cottage. We had a great time - it’s in a lovely position and it was like home from home. We were so lucky with the weather too. It would definitely be our stay away cottage if we come to Norfolk in the future.

Sylvia,

Another lovely visit to Old Dairy Court, weather was perfect, considering we are in March. Thank you Clare for a lovely clean house as usual, Gold star to the cleaner. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Jenny, Neil & Amy

Jenny,

Fabulous cottage in a brilliant location with an excellent host. Cottage was very clean and tidy and also spacious. It is very close to the high street with immediate access to quirky shops, restaurants, Tesco, the railway plus the seaside is a few minutes walk away. The parking spot is tight for large SUVs! My Freelander fitted but was a squeeze :) Clare the host was extremely welcoming and helpful. Am already booked for a second stay next month.

Victoria,

Had a lovely 3 night stay at the beginning of Feb. The cottage was great.. really well equipped. spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Just wish the weather had been warmer as it also has a lovely garden to sit out in. The wine and chocolates left on arrival were a lovely surprise! Would definitely come and stay again.

Sue,

We have just spent another lovely week at Old Dairy Court ,never been as early as January before but although it was cold we had a good few days of sunshine as well as a couple with freezing fog but it didn't spoil our week as after all it was January.
As always, Old Dairy Court was warm and lovely and clean and if we could have done we would have stayed longer.
Thanks again Clare for making us feel welcome with the wine and chocolates that were on the kitchen table when we arrived ,and we look forward to seeing you later in the year for another visit to Sheringham.

Steve and Lynda,

Thank you once again for the use of your lovely holiday home. Very welcome bottle of wine. As always lovely and cosy and spotless. Hopefully be back in the near future. Best wishes for Christmas and the new year. Caroline

Caroline ,

We have just had a great few days in 2 Old Dairy Court. One of the nicest holiday homes in Sheringham we've stayed in, in fact probably the best. Well furnished and equipped and cleanliness was second to none. A nice bottle of wine and chocolates as a welcome pack was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Easy walking to the shops or sea front, parking spot very useful (slightly tight to get into if you own a larger car) Thank you to the owner for offering such a fabulous place to us holidaymakers.

SR,

Thankyou. Old Dairy Court was so clean, very comfortable and well equipped.. we’ve enjoyed our few days away. Would happily recommend to friends, especially as it’s situated near to everything.

Angela & Roger,

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Old Dairy Court where we were able to celebrate my mother’s 90th birthday in her favourite seaside town.

Julie and Martin ,

Lovely clean cottage with everything one needs. Excellent location in Sheringham and for North Norfolk.

Another excellent holiday at Old Dairy Court. We all really enjoyed our holiday and the fantastic facilities available, hope to be back again soon, thank you!

John, Debbie, Millie, Jo,

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautiful, tranquil and extremely clean house. Superb location just steps away from the high street yet so quiet and peaceful inside the house. Clare was more than helpful to answer any questions and went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. Many thanks Clare :)

Beverley,

We have had a lovely stay in this immaculate and very well equipped house. The welcome gift on arrival was a very nice gesture. We didn't do any cooking as there are some very nice places to eat out in Sheringham. We would not hesitate in booking this property again. Thank you!

John & Daph,

Lovely cottage, immaculately clean and very well equipped. Thank you so much.

Maureen & Jim,

Fabalous house. Great location. Would love to come back! Thank you.

Neil,

So glad to back in 2 Old Dairy Court after a long lockdown. It was so fresh, clean, warm and safe. So many new items of equipment for us to use. Thank you for being so well organised. Peter & Hilary.

Peter and Hilary,

Spotless, warm, comfortable, little welcoming gestures. Following all COVID-19 rules. Ideally position in the town but not far from the sea. Thank you.

Caroline,

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Old Dairy court in an ideal location to enjoy Sheringham on foot.
The house was very clean and had soap and sanitisers on all sinks.
Everything such as TVs and central heating all worked well and having the parking space was ideal.
The house had everything you need for a holiday with a variety of almost new glasses, crockery and cooking equipment although we did not need to cook as felt safe eating out in Sheringham with all places we tried having good COVID precautions.
We would not hesitate to recommend this house
Thanks for making the booking and our stay problem free Clare
Chris & Ros

Chris & Ros,

We have just returned from another lovely week in Sheringham and of course Old Dairy Court.
With the dreaded Covid virus we were a bit apprehensive what would find different due to the situation, but as we expected, we needn't have been, as everything was in place to make us feel very confident with our stay,
After picking up the keys slightly later than normal for obvious reasons ,we found the cottage immaculately clean as always, but you could tell that extra had been done to comply with Covid.
We were aware that a few things had been removed ie books and DVDs again due to the current situation, but were pleased the usual goodies were still on the table to welcome us as we arrived.
Again another great week in Old Dairy Court ,and as always cannot wait to return.
Thanks Clare
Best
Steve and Lynda xx

A lovely house to spend a great time with the family in Sheringham, no matter what the weather; and even in a pandemic!!

Redgrave family,

It has been great to have the opportunity to show my sister some of the delights of this area. Lovely walks at Sheringham Park and beautiful gardens at Hoveton Hall, as well as bracing walks along the seafronts, Sheringham, Cromer and Wells. Then to be able to come back and relax in your comfortable, well equipped home was the icing on the cake!

In over 40 years of self-catering breaks, Old Dairy Court has to be one of the cleanest and best equipped properties we have stayed in. Everything one could possibly want is available and ready for use. Thank you.
